A Legacy of Extraordinary Craftsmanship Founded in 1896
In the golden age of watchmaking and fine jewelry, Henry Blank & Co. earned a place among the industry’s most respected manufacturers. From its workshops in Newark, New Jersey, the company created exceptional jeweled timepieces and fine jewelry for some of the world’s most prestigious houses.
The Names That Defined Luxury
Henry Blank & Co.’s historic collaborations, partners and relationships included the most celebrated names in watchmaking and jewelry:
● Tiffany & Co.
● Cartier
● Patek Philippe
● International Watch Company (IWC)
● Raymond C. Yard
● Marcus & Co.
● J.E. Caldwell & Co.
● Shreve & Co.
Tiffany & Co. was the firm’s largest retail account. Henry visited its offices weekly maintaining a close relationship built on an exacting standard of quality. Blank produced watch cases for Cartier, collaborated with Patek Philippe and had exclusive agreements with Swiss movement makers, including IWC.
Their names were on the dial. Henry Blank’s craftsmen were behind the watch.
A Remarkable Chapter in Titanic History
In April 1912, Henry Blank was returning from Europe, where he had been conducting business with Swiss watchmakers and European gemstone dealers.
For his journey home, he boarded the RMS Titanic as a first-class passenger.
On the night of April 14, when the great ocean liner struck an iceberg, Blank was aboard. He survived the disaster, escaping in Lifeboat No. 7, the first lifeboat lowered from the ship.
He returned to America and continued building his remarkable business.
His survival remains an extraordinary chapter in the history of the man behind Henry Blank & Co.—a personal story intertwined with one of the most famous events of the twentieth century.
The Cresarrow
The Signature of a Master Craftsman.
The crescent pierced by an arrow became a distinctive symbol associated with Henry Blank’s watchmaking heritage.
Known as Cresarrow, the mark appeared on historic watches and watch components and became part of the company’s identity.
Elegant, recognizable, and rich in history, the crescent and arrow represented a tradition of craftsmanship that extended across generations.
Today, this historic emblem provides a visual connection between the original house and its modern revival.

An Enduring Tradition
The story lives on through its watches, jewelry, surviving design archives, historic markings, internal signatures, and the craftsmanship that made the name respected among those who understood fine watchmaking and jewelry.
Today, Henry Blank & Co. draws upon that enduring tradition while looking toward the future. We create fine jewelry and watches inspired by the past, refined for the present, and intended to become the heirlooms of tomorrow.
Each creation carries forward the principles that defined our original house: exceptional materials, thoughtful design, masterful craftsmanship, mechanical precision where required, and an uncompromising attention to detail.
From a diamond bracelet to a jeweled timepiece, every piece is made to hold its beauty, express its character, and become part of a personal story.
